When you travel to Delhi 90% of people speak Hindi for 80% of a day
Come to Tamilnadu even our Sadarji/Kanadiga/Telugite/Malayalee/north Indians speaks only in tamil.

All the facts you mentioned here might be true, but I am sorry to say that even after 60yrs of Indian Independence people of this country are not able to come out of their linguistic and regional shell. If you feel you should speak kannada, so be it nobody is stopping but please dont make it a pride statement that a kannadiga should speak kannada. These kinds of sentiments only raise hatred, even though ur intentions may not be wrong. There are other states also which have their own regional languages and great literatures like West bengal, Orrisa. But u will never see a campaign like this being run there. They speak Hindi equally good. And calling our national language "SO Called" , I think is very shameful as an Indian. You see my mother tongue is not Hindi but i never do a propaganda that speak ur mother tongue, inspite of the fact that it is getting extinct(do u know maithli is a language..i am sure u dont, although its one of the 22 official languages of India). but u see thats the way it is. kannada and tamil might be there for thousand of years but as time changes, culture changes , thinking changes and languages change. Its not about a language being perfect or correct, but the course of history decides what language people speak in a region, suppose tmrw u find a language that is 100% correct would people start speaking that language, definitely no. And remember change is inevitable. Those who dont evolve often become extinct.
